How long have you been involved with football, and what has been your level of involvement up to your current post?

13 years as a registrar, 24 years with junior football. I was club secretary with Abbey Lane JFC for 9 years.

Tell us a little about yourself?

I'm an avid Sheffield Wednesday fan, have a season ticket and also go to most away games. Away from football, I spend a lot of time with my 5 Grandchildren. I also work full time as a finance assistant for Sheffield City Council.

What have been your highs and lows during your time involved with grassroots football? 

Highs were when girls football was introduced, and the small sided game. Lows are when boys/ parents/ managers are sine died from football. 

What other roles/involvement do you have with the game on a local level?

I go and watch junior teams on a Sunday morning.

What do you love most about your role with the League?

Helping boys play football. My belief is that there is a team for every boy no matter what their ability. Talking to different people, and solving managers problems

If you could give one piece of advice to a member club, what would it be?
Rules are there to be adhered to. Use common sense.
