E-Newsletter Issue 14

Sheffield & District Juniors Sunday League Weekly E-Newsletter

Issue 14

Dear Paul

Welcome to this weeks e-newsletter. The purpose of the e-newsletters is to keep you informed of news and events within the league and the wider grassroots football community.

The newsletter is emailed out to all club secretaries on a Friday and now also appears on the website (www.junleague.com)

LEAGUE NOTICES

The Results service email results@junleague.com is now back up and working. Please send all the results to results@junleague.com. Please remember all results have to be reported by 6pm on Sunday evening.

Teams still involved in the U13 and U16 County Cups will need to let their registrar know as soon as possible if and when the next round clashes with a league match. Whilst blank weekends were scheduled into the League fixtures for the opening rounds, this is not the case for future rounds and League matches will need to be rearranged. The draw for the county Cups, when made can be viewed at http://www.sheffieldfa.com/FixturesAndResults/CountyCups/

All League Cup & Trophy results need to be reported to cupresults@junleague.com and to results@junleague.com (so that can appear on the website)

The League is looking for someone to collate all the results on a Sunday evening so they can be on the Website ASAP. Anyone interested should email the League Secretary (nathan.batchelor@junleague.com). The League do pay a small honorarium for this.

Pete Sockett, needs photos for the Green’Un. Send photos directly to Pete (pete.sockett@junleague.com)

If anyone from the Worksop and Barnsley area would like to join the League Committee please email the League Secretary (Nathan.batchelor@junleague.com). Still not had anyone come forward

The League Full Time is currently the 2nd most viewed in the UK. To see the top 100 Full Time Leagues visit http://full-time.thefa.com/TopLeagues.do

As always if you have suggestions on how the League can develop and improve please send them to the League Secretary (nathan.batchelor@junleague.com)

Clubs need to send details of their club welfare officers to lisa.smith@junleague.com so the League can create an up-to-date database. Lisa requires your club welfare officer name, address, phone number and email address. The League will be putting on some events for club welfare officers in the near future.

Birley Spa Juniors FC have asked me to remind you that no one can take dogs onto the pitches based at Birley Community College.
