Welcome to the first of many weekly e-newsletters. The purpose of the e-newsletters is to keep you informed of news and events within the league and the wider grassroots football community.
**LEAGUE NOTICES**
*The Fixture Meeting will take place on Wednesday 12th August at the Philadelphian Social Club. The change of date is due to the ordinal date clashing with Carling Cup fixtures. The meeting will commence at 7:30pm.

*All secretaries need to write the players squad number in the top right hand corner of the player registrations card when they check them.
*Remember all players must be registered with the age group registrar 14 days before the start of the season. Please help your age group registrars by sending in your completed player registration as soon as you can.
*The first round of fixtures will be scheduled for Sunday 13th September but clubs will be encouraged to bring forward a game and start playing league fixtures from Sunday 6th September. Remember midweek games can only be played on a Tuesday and Thursday evening. Under 13s and Under 16s need to aware that they could have a cup run in the Sheffield & Hallamshire CFA Tesco Cup which will cause a fixture pile-up. It is therefore advisable for teams in these age groups to bring a few games forward and play a few midweek games early on.
*Mini-soccer teams who play fixtures regularly on a Saturday morning need to inform me (nathan.batchelor@junleague.com) who they are, so I can create a list to pass on to all mini-soccer managers.
